There?s one thing we love almost as much as beer. And that?s coffee.
Here in Mt Eden, there?s a coffee roaster a stone?s throw from the brewery.

Over the years we?ve got to know the crew at Altezano well, they keep us caffeinated & we keep them hydrated. So when it came time to brew this Imperial Coffee Stout we gave Richard, Tim & Milton a shout to create a delicious collab.

The team blended 10 different dark, toasted & chocolate malts, added Southern Cross hops & a serious quantity of freshly roasted & ground single origin Altezano coffee. The result is a rich & intense stout, with an incredibly smooth mouth-feel, & complex flavours of coffee, nut & dark chocolate.

This stout has been brewed to be velvety smooth, allowing the rich, red berry notes of the coffee to shine through.
