Bladnoch Distillery
As we enter the final week of August, we continue our trip through the Lowlands of Scotland exploring state of the art distilleries. This week we head to Bladnoch, the most southerly distillery in the country and fin out more about their single malt scotch whisky's plus we have some spectacular offers on these well established spirits so tune in and enjoy the trip!
Bladnoch’s rich history dates back to 1817, when John and Thomas McClelland were first granted a license to distil Whisky on their Bladnoch farm in Scotland’s Lowlands. For nearly a century, successive generations of McClelland family grew and modernized the distillery. At its peak, the site had six washback's and annual production of approximately 230,000 litres of alcohol, which cemented its status as the “Queen of the Lowlands".
This year, Bladnoch celebrates its 206th anniversary.
