A collaboration between Double Vision Brewing and Schneider Weisse came to fruition through the likes of Beervana. Elena Fersch - brewmaster of Schneider Weisse has teamed up with DVB to create a beer that ticks all of the boxes between DVB's adventure and Schneider Weisse's long-standing tradition.
Flavours: This beer will have it all from the best malts and hops from their part of the world combined with ours here from NZ.
Motueka and Nelson Sauvin are a pairing that you all know well. Nelson Sauvin has distinct white wine grape flavours. Kohia brings in some passionfruit notes to complement the yeast esters. Hallertau Blanc is a German hop which has wildly similar notes to Nelson Sauvin. Its Hoplist profile goes like this: Flavors of white-wine and fruit, aromas of cassis, elderflower, grapes, grapefruit and lemongrass. Schneider Weisse air freighted us their in-house yeast that has been around since the beginning that will complement with fruity and floral esters that play off of the hops
