Temperatures surged for a week in August. Our grape growing and winemaking teams worked nonstop to keep the vines healthy and happy until temperatures cooled. In spite of a few hot bumps in the road, this year’s wines are shaping up to be gorgeous indeed. The fruit for this Chardonnay was hand harvested between September 6 and 8. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation, during which each lot was evaluated individually and its fermentation stopped at optimal texture.
