Grant's Elementary Carbon 6 year old is a 6 year old blend as part of Grant's "Elementary" range and referred to as "carbon" in reference to its age statement. To emphasize the influence of coal on whiskey, it was aged exclusively in heavily charred oak barrels for at least six years. For this blend, Master Blender, Brian Kinsman and his team selected single malts as well as peaty and grain whiskeys.
