The Fontar?che estate is one of those privileged spaces where wild nature coexists in harmony with man. Each season exhibits its colors, its scents, its flora and fauna. The castle, a source of inspiration for the winegrowers, is quiet, in an exceptional setting. It is in this context that Fontareche wines draw their strengths and assert their character.

A gorgeous wine, with a dominant grape of Carignan grape. Just shows what old vines can do in the right soil. Rich, juicy and fruit-forward, it has aromas of white pepper, cassis, violets, and sage. Lush and decadent, with a lingering chocolate-raspberry finish.

Grapes: 40% Carignan, 25% Mourv?dre, 30% Syrah, 5% Grenache

Terroir: Limestone terrace and gravel with pebbles soil.

Winemaking: The Carignan grapes undergo semi-carbonic maceration. The Syrah and Mourv?dre grapes are destemmed and fermented at a temperature of 28 ? C for 14 days. Malolactic fermentation and aging takes place in stainless steel.
