Argiolas winery is located on the island of Sardinia off the coast of central Italy. The estate that Argiolas winery now call their top vineyard was once nothing but an olive farm until the very early 20th century. It all started when Antonio Argiolas decided to plant a row of vines on his property - not originally for commercial use. It wasn't until his sons came along that things got bigger and the vineyard expanded. The winery is now in the third generation and is producing some of Sardinia's top wines. The 'Korem' and 'Turriga' are particularly sought after reds.

The single-varietal Vermentino Meri presents itself stylish and crisp. Wonderful notes of lemon, honey, orange and apple in the fragrance. Fresh and lively, but at the same time full and intense. The grapes are cooled in the vineyard immediately after harvest and are protected from oxidation - this way they preserve their best possible aroma and the wine gets a richer, more complex bouquet.
