Argiolas winery is located on the island of Sardinia off the coast of central Italy. The estate that Argiolas winery now call their top vineyard was once nothing but an olive farm until the very early 20th century. It all started when Antonio Argiolas decided to plant a row of vines on his property - not originally for commercial use. It wasn't until his sons came along that things got bigger and the vineyard expanded. The winery is now in the third generation and is producing some of Sardinia's top wines. The 'Korem' and 'Turriga' are particularly sought after reds.

Senes, a Riserva made predominantly from Cannonau, has an intense bouquet of aromas of wild berries, Mediterranean herbs and tobacco. Full-bodied and "umami" on the palate with profound fruit, rounded tannins, balanced structure and beguiling length. Very straightforward, fresh and sincere in its style.
