Kaishaku, a beautiful Belgian beer with a Japanese twist!

A kaishakunin was the one who inflicted the final strike on a Japanese who committed seppuku or harakiri. This final strike was done by chopping off the head with the help of a samurai sword. The role of the kaishakunin was primarily to save both the person who committed seppuku and the spectators the painful slow death of cutting the belly open. The use of a kaishakunin was normally only reserved for those who committed seppuku out of honor. For example, a warlord who was defeated in a war and therefore chose to commit seppuku was often assigned a kaishakunin, but a samurai who committed seppuku because he had committed a crime or disgraced his clan. The kaishakunin had to be an experienced swordsman to cut off the head just far enough with a single stroke.

A fruity and hoppy taste is striking.

This in combination with a high alcohol percentage makes this a very special beer.

KEREL Kaishaku, a real killer !!!
