The Aglianico for this wine was farmed Biodynamically and picked in April when it was quite cold. Roughly 25% of fruit were kept as whole bunches and a carbonic maceration ensued. The grapes were basket pressed before fermentation was completed to avoid the full Aglianico grip. Maturation occurred in old oak for 10 months. 

All of the berries, perfectly ripe and a little crisp; blackcurrant, redcurrant and cranberry. Some dainty cherry blossom florals layer over the graphite, dried rosemary and smoked lamb. Medium bodied and succulent
