For years, Petrakopoulos Winery has been experimenting with various vinification techniques, trying different approaches to the Cephalonian varieties that seem to appreciate it. Robola of Petrakopoulos Winery from Theramonas redefines the variety with a different approach that fully expresses the character and the terroir in which it is grown.

The wine that comes from these organically farmed, non-irrigated, incredible old Zakynthino vines can only be described as 'Gold'. This is a rare drinking experience for almost every wine drinker. Only tiny amounts of Zakynthino is seen and produced. Mesmerising gold in colour, with wild flowers tickling the nostrils while ripe stone fruits hit on the palate. All this is kept in line by a lovely natural acid backbone.
